History
The Anchor Manufacturing Building was built in 1928 and housed the Anchor Manufacturing Company. In 1954 the building changed hands to the Hensley Distributing Company. In 2004 the property was acquired and rehabbed by Levine Machine Development and later sold in 2007 to Dayton Investments LLC. Today, the building stands as home to the hip and cool multi-use space restaurant/retail/venue space known as “The Duce.”
